Reflections and Monet

During ICT this week we looked at some paintings by Monet. We studied, in detail, the way the reflection in water looked as though it was moving. This was due to the ripples in the water.






Therefore we decided we would try to recreate some pieces of art using text ease paint. Particularly the symmetry and smudge tools. Please let us know what you think!

Pointillism and George Seurat

In ICT we have been looking at viewpoints and have been studying pointillism. Pointillism is a technique of painting in which small, dots are applied in patterns to form an image.

George Seurat was the first artist to use pointillism, so we thought we would try to copy Seurat, and create a picture using dots.

We used the iPads to create these images - using the app, Sumo Paint.

Quadblogging
